| I am a healthy 22 year
old who would love to make a donation to help start a family in return for a donation that
will help fund my pursuit of a Ph.D. I am currently working full-time as a
server as well as attending a University full-time. I am a junior studying for
a double major with a BS in psychology/sociology. My passion is working with and
helping people, and I plan on continuing my studies through grad school and medical
school in the area of social work. I have always excelled in school and have
been recognized since kindergarten for my gifted abilities. At 6 years old
I was chosen with 10 other children in the entire district to participate in a 6 year
class for the gifted. I have always been an active participant in honor classes,
school clubs, and was even published in "Who's Who Among American High School
Students." My SAT scores received me a commended status in the National Merit
Scholar Award. I currently maintain at least a 3.5 GPA, am active in clubs, volunteer
work, and anything people oriented. I have been on school tennis teams, played
various musical instruments for 7 years, was actively involved in competitive dance teams for 8 years. I was also a child model for Whilhemina, in New York City, but modeling is a pursuit that no longer interests me. I am now hoping to do more meaningful things with my life and strive to help others along the way. I consider myself overall to be a very passionate, intelligent, independent, and strong individual. |
